Marcella enjoys exploring the value of process rather than material and is currently focused on experimenting with an unexplored manipulation of aluminum. She is inspired by her dreams, experiences with nature, and automatic drawing. Through unconventional and intuitive processes, she experiments with translating shapes, gradients, and tactility she pulls from her drawings into metal. As an artist, Marcella aims to create whimsical work that invites viewers into the world she has imagined.
